Our History
In 2004, we were asked to write software for an international watch & jewelry store. We’d written many different kinds of software for many different industries over the years, but this would be the most challenging. We met with the head watchmaker, who was right at the top of his craft and listened to his process. We took notes, and more notes and then yes more notes.
He had a vision and our goal was not only create his vision but build it so there would be no need for an instruction manual or training sessions.
Three months later we installed our services software and they went to work with almost no instruction.
That was back in 2004 the software has faithfully served them with nary a hiccup. Occasionally when Microsoft released a new Internet browser we had to make adjustments, when new versions of Outlook were released we made adjustments to some of the add on programs. All in all they were only minor issues caused by updates of “OPS” Other Peoples Software.
We decided fifteen years was enough for our software to prevail in basically the same state it was delivered. The company was purchasing a new server and so we needed to create a new version for the future. Hence WatchServe was born in 2016 and is ready to meet the world of service.
